Concept:
Heritage information plays a vital role in making informed decisions for the conservation of cultural heritage. The RecorDIM initiative for the past years has produced a relevant number of manuals to provide guidelines for heritage recording, documentation and the use of information systems in the field of conservation of architectural heritage. These lectures are aimed at promoting the use of these guidelines in producing heritage information standards. The material produced by RecorDIM could assist organizations in this field, ensuring longetivity and consistency in the documentation for conservation of heritage places.

| Bill Blake, is the measured Survey Manger of the Metric Survey team at EH. He is responsible for standards, training and developing applied metric survey for heritage applications in EH. |
| Rand Eppich, licensed Architect and project manager experienced in design and construction, management, documentation and conservation. |
| Christian Ouimet is an architectural conservation technologist with the Heritage Recording Unit of the Heritage Conservation Directorate, Public Works and Government services Canada, where he is involved in the documentation and monitoring of monuments, buildings and sites by means of various documentation tools. |
| Mario Santana, he has a degree in architecture (1994), in architectural conservation (1997) and a PhD in engineering (2003). He is an assistant professor at the Lemaire Centre for the masters program in conservation of monuments and sites. He is currently the Vice President of the ICOMOS Scientific Committee on Heritage Documentation (CIPA) and executive officer of the Virtual Systems and Multimedia Society. He has also been working worldwide as a cultural heritage documentation consultant for UNESCO, World Monuments Fund, Getty Conservation Institute, UNDP, ICCROM, the University of Pennsylvania, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, Petra National Trust, University of Applied Sciences of St Lieven, and the University of Aachen RWTH. | Directions: The Atelier is located in the main building of the 'De Molen' in the ground floor - next to teh Castle of Arenberg, A sign will indicate the lecture room.
